Graduated from the Polytechnic of Wales (now known as the University of South Wales), United Kingdom in 1992 with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons). He sat for the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in July 1994 and passed the said examination in the same year.
On 17th January, 1995, Mr. Freddy Lim read in the chambers of Mr. Cheong Hock Soon of Messrs. Cheong & Co. and admitted to the Bar on 1st December, 1995. and was employed as a Legal Assistant of Messrs Henry Lim & Co. in December 1995 and was elevated as a partner in 1998.
In 1999, Mr. Freddy join Messrs Chan Kim Goh & Company as a Legal Assistant and was elevated as a salaried partner in 2000. In 2013, he was further elevated to an equity Partner and the Firm was renamed K.G. Chan, Freddy Lim & Company.
After two decades, the time was ripe for the establishment of Freddy Victor Lim & Associates which is now based in the Puchong District of the Klang Valley .
Mr. Freddy is a panel member of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Committee which is sanctioned by the Advocate and Solicitor Disciplinary Board which oversees complaints made against advocates and solicitors in Malaysia and also sits as a committee member in the Personal Injury Committee and the Legal Professional Committee of the Bar Council.
Mr. Lim is currently in his twenty fifth (25) year of practice.
